White Oak Lake State Park

White Oak Lake State Park showcases the unique beauty of Arkansas. Visitors can explore the park's many nature trails on foot or bicycle, camp in an RV or tent, enjoy some of the best fishing in the state or spend the day boating on White Oak Lake. The park offers many conveniences, such as bicycle rental, a bait shop, grocery store, gift shop and visitor center.
Camping, fishing and boating
Camping, fishing and boating are favorite activities at White Oak Lake State Park. There are 45 campsites in the park, with amenities like electric hookups, water hookups and showers. Visitors can rent a boat from the marina, fish from a barrier-free fishing pier or enjoy lunch at one of many picnic areas. White Oak Lake features some of the best fishing in the state. The lake covers the remnants of an old woodland, and a variety of fish species thrive in the environment created by the submerged trees.
Hiking trails
White Oak Lake State Park features several beautiful nature trails. Beech Ridge Trail highlights the many tree varieties in the park. The trail begins in a bottom-land hardwood forest, winds through a loop of loblolly pines and ends in a beech and hickory forest. The more challenging Coastal Plain Trail takes an hour and a half to hike, and it features some of the most unique terrain in Arkansas. The Spring Branch Trail is popular with older visitors and families with children, and hiking this trail is an easy, one-hour stroll.
From camping and picnics to boating and fishing, White Oak Lake State Park offers something for everyone. The park is open all year.
